It also helps you add valuable information about your leads in bulk, streamlining your data enrichment process. This guide will walk you through best practices and steps to successfully import your data.
Why Import CSV Data?
Importing CSV files helps you:
- Quickly scale your contact database with minimal effort.
- Organize large volumes of data efficiently.
- Enrich your CRM with accurate, contextual information for better campaign performance.
CSV Best Practices
To ensure a smooth import process, follow these best practices when preparing your CSV file:
Use Descriptive Column Headers
Ensure each column has a clear and meaningful description, such as:
- Company Name
- Website
- Telegram Handle (TG Handle)
- Contact Type (e.g., client, prospect, etc.)
Save Your File Correctly
- After creating your file, save it on your computer in CSV format.
- Use a specific and descriptive file name to make it easy to locate later.
Examples:
- ✅ Good Name Example: TOKEN2049_Side_Event_Attendees.csv
- ❌ Bad Name Example: CSV_256.csv
Why? A clear file name helps you locate it quickly and provides context, especially when managing multiple files.
